Rangers and O'Day Avoid Arbitration

Submarining right-handed reliever Darren O'Day was in town yesterday signing autographs at Fan Fest, and apparently while he was here he decided to also sign a deal for 2011 to avoid salary arbitration with the team.  The two sides met in the middle and got a deal done for $1.251 million for this season.  I've updated the contracts page to reflect this signing.

The only two potential arbitration cases remaining are for Josh Hamilton and Frank Francisco, but both could still work out deals to avoid it all just as O'Day, CJ Wilson, Nelson Cruz, David Murphy, and Mark Lowe all have.
