Rotation is Set, Lineup Decisions

Here are the match ups for the first four games of the World Series:

Game One:  Cliff Lee vs. Tim Lincecum (in SF)
Game Two:  CJ Wilson vs. Matt Cain (in SF)
Game Three:  Colby Lewis vs. Jonathan Sanchez (in TEX)
Game Four:  Tommy Hunter vs. Madison Bumgarner (in TEX)

Vladimir Guerrero will start Game One in right field.  Ron Washington has not ruled out Vlad starting Game Two, as well.  Despite his defensive limitations, the Rangers were 12-4 in the 16 games Vlad started in the outfield in 2010.

There are still roster decisions to be made.  There's a chance Jorge Cantu could be left off the roster in favor of defensive whiz Chris Davis to back up Mitch Moreland at first base.  The team is also evaluating the shape of the bullpen, and might drop either Clay Rapada or Michael Kirkman in favor of a righthander like Scott Feldman, Dustin Nippert, or Mark Lowe.  Any of those guys would probably just work mop up innings if they make the roster.  I wish Frankie Francisco was healthy enough for a spot on this team.

Be ready to hear about how the Rangers have not won a game in San Francisco since they moved into AT&T Park.  Somehow I don't think that matters to a team that won three in Tampa after losing 10 of their last 12 there, and won two of three in Yankee Stadium after having been swept there in April.
